MPP is excited to announce the opening of our new outdoor classroom this spring! We will be encouraging outdoor play and learning with a curriculum that cultivates curiosity about the natural world. Our students will be witnessing the life cycle of seasonal crops, from seed to harvest, and donating the fruits of their labor to help our food insecure neighbors. The outdoor classroom will consist of two sites: (1) a gathering space with a sensory bin, where circle time and reading can take place, and (2) a raised bed vegetable garden where students will have hands-on experience with the science of plants. We can’t wait for you to see it for yourselves!
